And now my hand is complete

*sigh*

I would like to introduce you to my right hand, my glam hand.

(Hello, nice to meet you)

My right hand has always had it a little rough, I mean competing with the left hand decked out in a sparkly rock, competing with the left-handedness of my brain (yeah I'm basically ambidextrous but it is from the left hand all creativity pours), competing but always coming up second best.
It's been a tough life.

And then today, it all changed. Say hello to my precious.

I have been ambushing my dear, sweet postal worker DAILY this week waiting for my package from Miss Plume to arrive. He keeps trying to make small talk and ignoring the fact that I'm still in my pajamas, or still brushing my teeth, or pawing at the mailbox, but I think he's noticed how desperately I've been awaiting this little brown box. (and I've never been good at the waiting game)

Of course I had to change outfits to properly showcase my ring today, and of course there was a whole "ring photoshoot."

(This is actually one of The Noisy Plume's photos, but she's just so amazing at showcasing her pieces that I had to post it up)

And OF COURSE I will be wearing my beautiful new ring in Vegas this weekend (after all, what's the point of wearing big heels, sipping a martini, and basically looking fabulous if a gal doesn't have an amazing cocktail ring to do it all in?).

I think I'm in love. Yes, we make a beautiful pair, don't you think?

Thank you my Plume, your lovely soul pours itself into your jewelery and I could not be more honored to swing my long arms, fluttering a little piece of you and all your beauty at my fingertips.

Oh, it screams "Kelly!" and that alone makes it lovely, but it is beautiful in its own right!

I have purposedly never perused the wares of Ms. Plume - I am sorry to admit - but holding out is now immeasurably more difficult.

Maybe if I tie my "BUY!!" pressing finger behind my back?

*sigh*

It suits you perfectly!

She's not kidding about knocking over the postman every day. Poor guy.

And it looks even better in person. Now all she needs is some turquoise Crocs to complete the ensemble!

OH SWOOOOOOON. I love this photo shoot - even after we had our tea and crumpets and conversation about how difficult it is to photograph jewelery well - and by god, you've done it!

Also, your apartment never looks like your apartment when you post pictures - it's amazing! HOW DO YOU BE KELLY?

take this ring to the pool for the extra confidence, my gorgeously feminine and fit summer beauty.

Holy gosh.
There never could have been a better match for that ring. Never in a geological time period or ten.

My face is smiling so hard it's going to break off!

XO

Vegas? You're coming this close to us and keeping it some kind of national secret?? When M and I, you and BC could have conquered Rumjungle together???

Seriously, want to meet up? Brad has some business to work on (whole point of the trip) but I'm ready to throw down!

Saturday night? Sunday night?

Lovely just lovely.

And Vegas...!!! I know some people don't like it, but I love, LOVE, Vegas. We used to go almost every month when we first moved here, sigh...

sadly it's been a while.

HA!

Most unfortunately M and John spend all of their spare time outside of their respective jobs grouting and they spend every spare penny on the grout they grout with:)

Good luck dragging them out to Vegas! Though, if there is a promise of an all you can eat
meat-buffetish thing at Rumjungle you'll have them snared in a second.

I should have had a meat buffet at my house for three weeks straight before I moved, perhaps then I would have seen a bit of the Wrights before we got the heck out of Dodge!

***Note my minxy use of reverse psychology on the Dynamic Arizonan/Belfastian Duo (so dynamic it will send you into spastic fits all over the dance floor, and my oh my you should see that M cut a rug)....NOW they'll force themselves to met up with you in Vegas to prove that there is more to their existence than GROUT and John will have to give M an allowance for the penny slots (if he doesn't, she gets really out of control and her eyes get all bloodshot). Trust me. It's going to work like a charm:)

Yep, I was right, I didn't think there was anything more to that dynamic duo than grout. Such a shame (although I bet they have one hell of a shower!).

And to think, we have some slot credits that will probably just go to waste because Brad and I always forget to play them. So sad.

And I don't even know what RumJungle is! We hardly even know Vegas (This will be my very first trip, and BC has only gone for work)!

(how's that for reverse psychology!)

We get in Saturday and leave Monday morning. We'll be there, with various accommodations.

Well... you have us looking at room prices for Vegas...

I sent an email your way M, check it before you do anything else.
