"You are always picking up odd shaped stones, pebbles, fossils, saying that you do this because I pleases you, but I know better.  Deep inside you there must be an awareness of the rock power, of the spirits inside them, otherwise you would not pick then up and fondle then as you do."
- Lame Deer (1900 - 1976 Lakota Holy Man)

You are a true Fire-and-Earth Woman!

Delightful and appropriate, as I am constantly picking up stones on my wanderings, and placing them in my pocket along side found feathers and robin egg shells.... my last home was loaded with rocks ranging from pebble to boulder, there was one truck load dedicated to them on our move and I fear the same will go with our next, oh dear...

The stones of the sea you have here in your land, well, when I too visit the ocean in Seattle or Oregon they come home with our caravan, these are the only truly appreciated presents for me:)))) I am so encouraged to visit and read this quote by Lame Dear, and theses photos taken by and of a beautiful Dove...

Oh <3. I love that nature can be so pretty, twisting twirling ribbon lines into rock and stone. So gorgeous. :)
