Shameless (or shameful) Desire

Image by Pet Tree Houses, listed here.

1. I have a shamelessly codependent relationship with my kitty boys.
2. I hate cat decor.
3. I love trees.
4. If you happen to be driving cross country, Florida to Washington, would you pretty please pick this up for me? I can pay you in gin and tonic.

Rufus and Mellow would be the happiest kitties in the world if they could get their little paws all over that. I would be so happy too to have such an original piece in my home. I love it. I want it. I need it. I sadly can't afford it.

I love it! Oh the kitties would be in heaven.

Have you seen these kitty beds?

Much less substantial, but very mod. I'm with you- I usually can't stand kitty furniture- it's got to be something pretty special!

Snugs to the kitties :)

I'm sure that's what our little chompers need - plastic leaves to devour. Is there a weight limit on these? Are they made to withstand, "Kitties of Rotund proportions..?" Not to mention how well balanced is it? Nothing like a kitty udder swinging out from under you and throwing balance off whilst jumping from one perch to the next. I'm just saying, this could be a dangerous item to have in your home.

Hah, oh my gosh this is fantastic! Our girls would love it (and I'd get that little doggy house for our Boston!)

If only!!

I think you should build one yourself with a real tree. That would definitely take some maintaining though as you would have to adjust with the growth of the tree. Okay, scratch the real tree idea, silk is great.

On a totally unrelated topic... I remember you once telling me that you could easily teach girls the proper way to walk in heels. This came to my mind a few minutes ago as I nearly flattened my face walking for the first time in months in heels. This may or may not have anything to do with my heel walking skills. Maybe it's because I am prone to find any and all cracks/bumps/pebbles or any other underfoot discrepancies. This is all to say that I think you should do a blog post (video included) on the PROPER way to walk in heels. I'd watch it and I'm sure I'd learn from it :)

HA! That's so hilarious that you remember me saying that! As preposterous as if would be, I'm kinda tempted by the video blog...

Of course I remember you saying that! HA! I have to admit, as you were telling me that I was secretly praising GOD that I didn't wear heels that night! I love wearing heels but am no expert. I am usually put off by the fact that when I wear them I'm taller than just about everyone I know. So please, divulge your secret so I can walk confidently in my stilettos!

I too hate cat furniture, but I think I could definitely live with this in our living room!
