Working by Rainlight

Working by rainlight
The skies have let loose.  I'm sitting in the studio without music, just listening to the rain thunder down.  The redwood just outside my window is covered in the most beautiful bokeh of droplets.  Down by the river a small but brave flock of birds is flying low; I counted seven between the birch trunks which are growing green.  This morning I found a gluten-free, vegan chocolate bar which I am devouring with licorice tea in a cup and saucer I had nearly forgotten about.

It's the kind of day where you don't even need a rainbow.

The rains will start here soon again. I'll be happy because it will be warmer though right now it is nice to have a clearish sky.

I wish I had a redwood tree outside my window but I have magnificent mountains instead :-))

Hey Pigtails,
That snack sounds disgusting.

For a minute, I freaked out b/c I didn't have enough "Kelly food" in the house. Then I relaxed when I remembered it's BC coming.

Sent a letter today.

I like that. That's the kind of day I'm going to have. It's a stabbing 38 below zero here and I'm shifting. my. perspective. now! : )

The sound of thunderstorms is so relaxing and wonderful isn't it? I like it too.

Great imagery you created and the quote at the end is marvelous. :)

What a wonderful place to sit, work and listen to the rain. I always miss the rain during winter. Snow is so quiet...

Such great light in there! The french press, the white walls, the antler...the clean desk! I wish mine was so usable. Perhaps on the top of my list this week? I think so. :)
