So I know there are a lot of really great men out there, but I think I may have snapped up the best of them (sorry ladies, I had to lock that down quick). We're talking tall, dark and handsome but so much more than that. I mean, how many men out there would brave public humiliation wearing a chicken mask to try and win their gal some jewels? And when you are sick in bed, down and out, how many men would give up an early anniversary gift just to bring you back to life (oh, how did you know that presents work better than theraflu any day)? That's right, my man (and do I ever love this belt!)
And while we are on the subject of anniversaries, let me tell you, we are approaching the big NUMBER 7 on Monday and I couldn't be happier.
So BC,
Thank you
You have given me so much life
And I will love you forever.

yeah, he's alright i guess.
(thank god they will never know that we cried while talking about them over lunch the other day.)
great belt on a great waist!
Yeah, seriously (like we would ever admit it somewhere that they could read about it, like on one of our blogs -no way!)
I'm all verklempt...
Just for that, I'm taking you out to a nice meal at the Sizzler for our anniversary!
sweet. I'm so ordering the coconut shrimp.
You're right...he IS great.
AND oh my gosh...Sizzler??? You are SO lucky.
I know we've never met; and I'm a faraway distant voice - but *melts* this was a beautiful post... and there is truth in the notion that a person reveals their true feelings and heartsong in the worst of times. You are both lucky to have each other!
Happy anniversary
I have been a huge Brad-n-Kelly fan for daaaaays... they are both fabulous people on their own, but together... magic ;-)
I've always said, "when I grow up I want to be Brad & Kelly!"
*raises a glass to you*
xoxo
The big 7! We are fast approaching our 7 year anniversary as well.
I'm not feeling itchy in the slightest.
there's nothin' like BC lovin'. i would have to go out on a limb and say, he scored a gem as well.
when i think of celebrating your marriage, these things come to mind:
1-fighting to believe in eachother
2-flirty, scolding eyes in a croud
3-sacred, unabashed, mutual revelation
4-embracing mystery
5-uplifting expression
6-entertaining destiny
7-and my personal favorite, sharing as much as you possibly can with us.
Well, the Sizzler was even better than I could have imagined! It was a great little get away, and although I would like to post pics, I don't think there were any taken worth showing. Oh well, maybe one day we will be good like Candace and take worthy pictures.
Knowing you two twitterpated lovebirds like I do...and I have witnessed lots of gotchas and grabassing over the years (13 but who's counting)! I would imagine, regardless of where you had dinner, you guys ended up at Sizzlers later on.
