Does anyone else out there consider their relationship with their cat (or dog!) to be slightly codependent? Does tree climbing together hint at that?
Anyone?
Anyone at all?

ABSOLUTELY!!!! except Lolita, who is a 13 1/2 year old lab, can't climb!...
I have trouble sleeping without my dog next to me! And we treed a squirrel together yesterday.
I'm always in good company here.
Totally, My cat, Bella, acts like a dog. We sort of follow each other around ^_^
I love that picture!

Amazing picture, by the way.
Jones showers with me!

Absolutely; however, yours is truly one special and most delightful feline! My babes boss me around all day long, and of course you know that we read a lot together...when you see my arms and hands one day, you will know that we tangle a lot too!

I won't get up if Zulu is on my lap . . . can't be disturbing the Ms. Puss.
I'm so guilty of that too...
Our cats are indoors (we live in an apartment) but I like to think I would climb trees with them :)
I can say I have climbed perilously high up the oak in our backyard to retrieve the
OhSoVery Naughty Madame ShenShen.
...and I would do the same for Miss PissyPants Caspah as well
IF...
I ever let her badness outside.
I must admit to being quite co-dep with all my furry children (and probably the not so furry ones too)
Wonderful picture of you two felines, BTW!
Oh yes. Pretzel goes on quad and boat rides, road trips etc. Can't leave home without him.

Tree-climbing with one's feline friend isn't codependent; it's sharing!
Cats can be the most stalwart of allies...and, as needed, provokers of laughs and kickers of ass.
