When I left last week I felt like a treasure hunter.
And treasure I found.
My cup, which has seen little else besides a few swirling dregs, is filling up. I'm willing it to overflow. For the first time since the move, since the call, I opened up the door to my studio, spread out a huge sheet of paper and began to work in earnest.
There are little splish splashes all over the floor.
I think the cup might be running over.

Hi. I follow your blog. I am at http://my heartleapsup.blogspot.com. But, what I really wanted to share with you was my daughters blog. I believe your heart will appreciate it. She is in India working in the leper colonies. Each post is touching. But, you might start here: http://sewpurple.blogspot.com/2010/05/hands.html
I apologize for infringing on your space like this...but I really did think you might appreciate her heart.
what the WHAT? i've never seen some of those botanicals before.
but that face, and those long legs compisquating in nature...those sights i've seen.
releaved to see it's back to the drawing board. eager as hell to see what comes of it.
off to take (your)zucchini casserole out of the oven.
SMOOCH.
I am so happy to hear you are back in the studio. I am sure it will help to sooth your soul :)
and LOVE the photos!
It's so true: I'd have to be blindfolded and hogtied to NOT find inspiration in a lace like that. Just a few more bites of granola and I'm off to the studio for the morning!
que lindo! a lil Spanish for these gorgeous shots.
tropical paradise in CA?
beautiful pics. i took some similar ones recently, but they were in the plant zoo so it is not nearly as impressive as yours ;) I long for the quiet of non Urban life. Sigh.
I'm glad to hear you're working on stuff again. It makes my heart so happy to hear there are splashes on the ground.
