I woke up this morning mind churning. I've love the dawn, the first bite of morning, the blueness, the hope. I would be up with the first light every day if not for my sleepy-brain which seduces me with a great woolen cloud draped over my eyes. But not today. Not today sleepy brain! I know exactly what I want to create with my hours on this gorgeous frozen Monday.
Wahooooo!
Also. There has been much coffee.
Tra-la-la-la folks!

Just curious, whats in the breakfast bowl? All I can make out is a slice of banana. Otherwise it looks like a salad. Silly question, I know.
Great watercolor sketches,by the way.
:)
Stephanie, it's a big fruit, nuts and seeds bowl - I tend to make them quite often. This morning's mix was 1/3 of a banana, 1/2 a pear, 1/2 a cutie tangerine, a handful of cashews, a bit of diced avocado, some sesame seeds, a dash of chia seeds and a sprinkle of shredded coconut. It's delish! And THANKS!
Get at it Girl!!!!! I LOVE it when those flashes of vision come in and the hands tend to move through the process on their own...hours pass and time flies, and sitting at the bench full of bits and pieces that come together in to some kind of wonderful creation. I hope you are having a blast!!!
I love little glimpses of your space. Little beginnings of beautiful works.
Hope the day treats you well even after the caffeine wears off.
Yes please, I'll have a plate of paints, a creamer o' feathers, English muffs w/ Santa Cruz organic fruit spread, strong creamy coffee and a side of bird nest! That scene is irresistible and I bet you're listening to Danielle Ate The Sandwich! No one watercolors like you do.
xo
I enjoy peeking at the process . . . almost as much as the finished masterpieces.
you and your working breakfasts and plate of watercolors.
