Well, that may have been a bit over-dramatized. I know that I promised (and asked to be held accountable) in my mission to make pillows for myself in rich reds and teals just a few short posts back but this one, this one is oh so adorable! When it flies away I may be a bit sad, but will rest easy knowing that a good home awaits this little sweetie.
I really debated about keeping it, but BC reminded me of my current mission which will have to kept be a secret for now. (but I will tell you, it has to do with SOMEONE making SOMETHING absolutely stunning-that-I-can't-stop-thinking-about which I will be gleefully purchasing as soon as I come up with a little funding from my own art sales - hence the crazed pillow-making-madness that was this past weekend)
And while we are on the subject of pillow-making-madness I am so pleased to present some silliness called "Saturday Afternoon Projecting." If you click here, you will be treated to an eye-feast of small-scale power tools, deadly hot irons, gin, more gin, and a snappy sound track all created by my talented man.
Clinksies friends, enjoy your new week.

Oh man, what a fun project making silly videos of making projects. It was no, "John's Chicken Dance" but for a first attempt I think it came out not too shabby.
You guys rock. :)
You got skillz!
Watching the video makes me curious to see the rest of your house.
I adore the pillow as well. I want all the feather pillows. Every last one of them.
Hehe, there isn't much more to see. That is looking from the kitchen door into the living/dining room. Then on the other side of the wall is the bedroom. Not much more to it. It's about 650 sq ft, I think we measured.
WOW, MAC's are amazing. I am converted.
That was the kicken-assest little video of a saturday that ever was made. LOVE IT!
awe, Mme. you are sweetness (and next thing I know there will be a secret Mac in you house that will be kept hidden under the bed so Joel won't loose I.T. face).
You will find no love for ill-mannered mac comments here. Move along you PC user, we are taking over the WORLD. All must bow before Steve Jobs.
Just because you can't figure out how to use iTunes, one of the most user friendly apps in the world...
if mac users take over the world, i shudder - there will be no one left around to actually run the world.
mac: "i can't stop this nuclear war-head from launching b/c there is no huge fischer-price looking button telling me exactly what to do!"
pc: "just open it up and run the dos in safe mode."
mac: blank stare.
(just for the internet record, i am a techno-savy girl - and itunes was not able to handle the extent of my media library and had nothing to do with me not being able to figure it out just for the record)
HA!
MACs rule!
'nuff said.
BC - I think our first house was 850 sq. ft. It was pretty tight, but very sweet. Is it an apartment?
Yes, it is an apartment in an old (1908) brick building, tiny but we fell in love with it at first sight (you know, big crown molding, no doors, built-in vanity in the bedroom, hardwood floors). Tiny but so worth it (and it's within walking distance of everything in downtown Seattle).
Loooving that pillow!
Awe, thanks!
HA HA HAAAAA!!!!!!
I KNOW THE PLAN!!!!
Do.
Please.
Stick to the plan.
I cannot let the special thing go to the one-who's-name-must-not-be-mentioned........
XO
By the way, just draining my G&T now....glad to know we are drink compatible....
AND LONG LIVE THE MAC.
i too love that pillow, its eclectic mix that's playful but also peaceful. i have a tea towel from etsy with those same amy b. swirly dots.
Oh oh oh oh OH! I think I know what you are talking about (and who!). I might be way off... but the name that must not be mentioned? And saving for something, that The Plume knows about?!
Can I put 2 & 2 together?
Somebody tell me if I am right or wrong. Jillian please.
Delightful blog!
Thanks,
I love the "Toe-Jam Man Floor Vice" is used to it's full potential in Seattle land... missed a screw, hah made you look.
Power Tools and Gin... add a Cigar and you may find yourself with this guy wanting in. I noticed you fitted backward hat working style... Ok I want to come over, Cigar or not.
