Drum Roll Please...

Oy! So much excitement is crackling in the air here! The calendar will be officially for sale in my little shop o' wonders as soon as I tackle the rest of the photography but I just couldn't wait any longer to give you the sneak peeks.

And the big news, yes mame, the website. I swear to you, there is nothing more sure to cause the grandest of elation and the surest of panic attacks than publishing a website to, well, EVERY ONE. There are still a few tweeks to be tweeked, and a few more paintings waiting for their photo shoots but my heart is full up to bursting (and it just might! It's that kind of excitement where you just don't know what to do with yourself and NO ONE is answering their phones, not even your mother and you tell your bestest man and he says "yes, I'm really excited too and I have been sitting here the entire time and I do know all about it, yes even how you changed the color of that one font..." Ok, sorry, regaining control). But seriously, you should take a look (not a peek, but a loooooooooook) because these paintings, this outpouring of my soul, this voluntary sharing of my heart, is who I am on the very deepest level of self.

So with out further ado,

www.kellyclarkstudios.com

So here is the way things will be going down: Just leave me a comment (and no anonymous comment bombers either, after all, how will I let you know when you win?) saying that you stopped by today, Friday November 14th and you will be entered into the drawing for a free UmberDove 2009 Calendar. That's it. Well almost. You will need to come back by tomorrow (Saturday November 15th) because I'll be announcing the winner. Cross your fingers, toss some salt and good luck!

Wishing you all the swiftest of Fridays and plenty of smooches,

Umber

i am so happy about this. and to have peeked through the keyhole into this exquisite room full of beauty and light before the door was flung open to the adoring masses, well, 'twas an honor.

on top of all that, the calendar looks MAGNIFICENT. i'm filled with pride at the work of your hands and the trying, always the trying.

Mmm... I pored over every inch of your site. Definite kudos to Brad. Nice and simple, it lets your work shine (and believe me, it does).

I want that calendar so bad I could cry :) I need a bit of umberdovely in my life. So hint hint John... if I don't win, can I have it for Christmas?

First reaction to webpage...
oooooohhhhh... [holding breath a little] You say you strive to create a balance of recognizable and abstract imagery... a feeling of place... your words help me pause and take it all in a little more deeply. How fabulous, how exciting, to be introduced to your website and to a new season in your journey.

Well.

I'm very glad for the PUBLIC launch of this website of yours Kelly Belly. You worked so hard on it! Gosh, reading the detailed list of all the work you put into it the other day made me nearly keel over because it's on my list of things to do...a website that is...your dotcom has inspired me! Not to mention the fact that you have managed to build a beautiful website while YOU painted some gorgeous paintings, tossed together a lovely calender, sewed a gazillion beautiful cushion covers and painted some dainty plates.

I admire your productivity! With all my heart.

And now the website that YOU built has knocked my socks off.

You really do amaze.

I plan on buying this calender so don't feel bad when you don't choose my name (I never win draws...I don't ever even win bingo...I've learned to accept it).

I'm with She: ALWAYS THE TRYING

Love you always birdfriend.

"you can see pictures down here" and you pointed to your ladyparts!!!

GUFFAWWW.
HAAHAHHHAHHHA.

That was funny.

Hey, give me a calendar.
Or just sign me up to buy two.

Always inspiring, Kelly. Thanks. There were some paintings that I haven't seen yet on your site. I think "When we exchanged burdens" is my favorite of the paintings. I instantly felt some sort of connection with it, and then, when I read that awesome poem... yeah. Amazing. Just love it.
Thanks for sharing. I look forward to returning to see all the new updates.

Umber Dove,
While I wait for your site to load I wanted to say I am so excited about your calender. I am especially looking forward to June which I noticed in one picture. Specifically because my family and I were there to share in the rejuvinating wonder that is the redwood forest. We really had an amazing trip that month and I'm so glad to have shared it with you and yours. Well my work connection is taking it's sweet time so I will try to look at the newest addition to your family some time tonight.

Oh, heavens you are so charming and delightful!
I must someday do a video blog, but alas I fear the kids would be hanging off of the furniture like monkeys in the back ground and then possibly some choice words may spill out of my mouth, which were not to be in the script....

Anyhow, stellar work, your paintings are heartbreakingly beautiful!

Kelly,
So I finally got a chance to check out your website and I was amazed at the "Environments" section. Such amazing creations made with such love. I would love to have a calender with some of those pictures. WOW.
